Our Story

My passion for bees began with a lifelong fascination with honey and a deep appreciation for God’s creation. Growing up in Colorado, I developed a love for nature and sustainable practices. That passion grew even deeper through my husband’s family and their roots in the Texas Hill Country. Their generations of caring for the land, cultivating it responsibly, and caring for the people around them have been a tremendous inspiration. They care for the land better than anyone I know.

Today, I bring that same philosophy to my approach to beekeeping. I believe in working with bees rather than against them and caring for them in ways that are aligned with God’s design.

Natural Beekeeping

My beekeeping practices focus on natural, pesticide-free methods and time-tested approaches inspired by traditional and ancestral beekeeping. Rather than relying on practices that interfere with the natural behavior of the colony, I strive to understand how bees naturally live, build, and thrive.

My goal is simple: healthy bees, healthy land, and responsible stewardship.

My Experience With Bees

I have two years of commercial beekeeping experience, gaining hands-on knowledge in colony management, hive care, seasonal beekeeping, swarm collection, and honey extraction.

I believe becoming a good beekeeper is a lifelong journey. I am committed to continuing my education through online beekeeping courses and ongoing study, while learning from experienced beekeepers and, most importantly, from the bees themselves.

My approach combines practical experience with a continued desire to learn, always seeking better ways to care for bees while remaining faithful to natural practices and responsible stewardship.
